Tom Dron - Late-Night Radio on 191.1FM lyrics

Modern man is cursed with the knowledge that all things will fade; but Buddha realized this with his first mark of existence, impermanence However we can now be confident that the spirituality separating Buddhism from Nihilism is all but but a delusion But modern man can not be happy in the face of this impermanence. Dis-attachment haunts every street corner The modern man is neither nappy nor sad. Alive nor dead The modern man is brought into existence and then taught that he does not exist in the truest sense of the word This universe is already dead If a rose is born in the forest, and then dies in the forest, turning to dust again without even a single simple observation or appreciation, did the rose's beauty ever exist at all? Thus, one cannot say they are happy, or sad. Or existent, Or non existent The modern man realizes he is simply the complex sum of decaying atoms. Decay, that is the true name of the universe, and the true name of everything in it. Not a single thing can be said to survive time. Not a single thing is saved from the epidemic of decay. Every single thing is dying, every single thing is already dead So what is the modern man to do with his life? Many turn to d** to escape to momentary bliss, or to delude themselves into believing there is more to life, that there is a meta-physic. Many turn to suicide, reasoning nothingness is better than a lifetime of existential anguish. And many choose to ignore the facts None are valid or invalid ways to live. The pursuit of happiness is just as meaningful as the pursuit of sadness, or d**h I for one, I will take whichever road the wind rolls upon I will become nothing before i become nothingness I will hide in the shadow of the apple wood tree and sit upon the moonlit sand over a deep dark ocean, watching the tide roll in Forever deeper. Forever darker. Forever more [? 2:40] For everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven A time to be born and a time to die A time to plant and a time to uproot A time to k** and a time to heal A time to tear down and a time to build up A time to weep and a time to laugh A time to mourn and a time to dance A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing A time to search and a time to give up A time to keep and a time to throw away A time to tear and a time to mend A time to keep silent and a time to speak A time to love and a time to hate A time for war and a time for peace
