Show Teeth - Lonely Robot lyrics

By: Yunive A. I woke up on top of dirt and debris in an abandoned house. I was overcharged; a thunder might have woken my insides. The sky was filled with thunder clouds still there was no sign of any human civilization near the current place I was in. My metal interiors were rusty and sore. My skin was made out of a metallic, silky, fabric that was hard as stone. I had the physical appearance of a human with a few noticeable differences. My skin was chrome colored and my eyes had a silver glow in them. Many years ago, I had been created by a crazy scientist, Nick Parker. He was lonely and sorrowful, in result of that he created me. I was his friend and companion. We had a bond could not be broken. One day I fell into a deep sleep, and I seemed unfixable. Despite this, he kept me in a crystal box, checking everyday to see if I somehow powered up and came back to fill that lonely spot on Nick's life. Many years pa**ed, and I seemed to be forgotten. My crystal box had a few cracks, and I was piled in boxes and trash. Until this day, I could fulfill the purpose I was built. I walked and walked until a strange machine with wheels came to me and the human being inside said “Need a ride?” I nodded, although I was a robot, I still got tired. The human dropped me off in a nearby town. It was different as I had remembered. There was modern buildings, which were more simple that the old times' buildings. Then I saw a human which I could know anywhere. I approached the man and called my master's name. “Nick? Nick Parker?” The man turned around and had a puzzled look. “Oh no, I'm John.” “Pardon me,” I said and walked away. John slightly grabbed my arm, as if he had forgotten to say something to me. “Wait! You must be Probe5M51.” I nodded. He had a sad look; he said “I'm John Parker, Nick's son. He told me about his loved, robot best friend. Unfortunately he pa**ed away a few years ago, but he told me to give you this. I take it with me everywhere.” He took out a small envelope out of his coat, and handed it to me. “Dear Probe5M51, You are the most loyal friend, I've ever had. We shared wonderful times together and I learned a lot about you as you did of me, but there wasn't enough time for me to continue those memories. It's my time to leave and to let you know that I will never forget the companion you were to me. Now it's your turn to continue sharing your friendship with my son. Tell him I love him and that I will always be accompanying you in spirit. Sincerely Nick Parker”
