by Archie S. A common topic in today's society– the wealth gap has been influencing people for decades. As seen by the malicious Wall Street Protests, remember “We are the 99%”? Contrary to popular belief, the wealth gap is important to America, and we would not have the highest GDP (and highest debt) without it. It is often perceived that rich individuals take advantage of the labouring cla**; however, they also take advantage of the middle cla**. This wealth gap is extremely important or else things would fall apart. The poor population is where we derive out manual labour! Imagine if we had no peasants to work out factories! If we pay them more, they might live comfortable lives! If that happens they won't be our drones anymore. The rich exist to run the country, be the thinkers, and tell the general public what to do because they don't know any better. The poor population performs the menial tasks which constitute making out mansions and vacation homes that we need to do our job correctly. This is why 1% of America has 34.5% of the whole country's wealth, it's necessary, if we donated it, it would be used on wasteful things. Imagine funneling money into education! Education is a complete waste, unlike an $800 billion defense budget. As long as the kids have pencils and paper, it's fine. The money should be used to build bigger factories and demolish shelters that take up space. A point that NO ONE recognizes is that poverty is good! Ignorance is bliss! Imagine if the peasants knew about the world. If they understood how hard things were for us, sitting on our $50000 leather couch in our 13000ft2 summer home waiting for our stock brokers to call. Everything would fall out of order. It is unconstitutional because power must be in the hands of the responsible. Poverty encourages self-strengthening and determination. The more they starve the more they work! By isolating the wealth, we only better ourselves as a nation. Do you want a communist state? Do you want to be a Soviet? Then hoard hoard hoard! Now the problem of generosity will be addressed. If we blew our money on charity and other trivial things, then who would build our luxury goods? This will cause society to fall apart, since the rich would not direct the peasants' every move. This may seem unnecessarily harsh at first but think about it. Give them money, they're happy, and they now don't need to work! DON'T NEED TO WORK! Do you hear how ridiculous that is? They must work in order to have a functioning, harmonious society. Now I hope you see why the wealth gap is important and why the wealthy should be seen with more respect. The wealthy run this country, and they will continue to, and no peasant, middle-cla** man, or activist will change that. Any argument given is useless, as the rich can easily throw cash at the opposing party. As the wealthy motto says, “Corruption is our greatest tool.” Please use this knowledge wisely and employ these irrefutable arguments in your writing.
