I think the Heat are a still a playoff team no doubt about it but without LeBron James, how far will they go? LeBron delivered Miami two championships in the first four years he was there. Don't get me wrong they still have a decent roster but with Dwayne Wades knee's declining who will step up at the shooting guard position to fill his spot? I think they will atleast win about 30 games this season and lose about 25-28 of them. I am not saying the Heat are a trash team, I am saying they are not the team they once were when LeBron was still there. Maybe this year in the draft they will try to at least upgrade the shooting guard position, small forward position and the power forward and center positions. Josh Mcroberts is good but when it comes down to it can he really get the job done in the playoffs when he has to guard someone like Al Jefferson? These are some questions the Heat staff should ask eachother. Miami didn't really make a big splash in free agency besides resigning Chris Bosh and D-Wade. As a Heat fan I was hoping for some big news like them signing someone like Anthony Davis or someone that is really good but that didn't really happen. We are half way through the pre-season and the Heat haven't one a single game yet, and I am really hoping something changes because if they keep playing like this I don't think they will get far in the season let alone make the playoffs. In a nutshell the Heat won't make the Finals this year and IF somehow they do manage to squeeze in I hope everyone is healthy and ready to ball.
