Atlanta modern rock trio Marvelous 3 became a critic's darling in 1999 with their smash single "Freak of the Week" from 1998's Hey! Album. They joined the ranks of Everclear, Foo Fighters, Buckcherry, and Creed for being another energetic yet rollicking pop band. The band, which is comprised of Butch, Slug, and Jayce Fincher, also became MTV mainstays and landed tour spots with Collective Soul, Eve 6, Blink 182, and Orgy. Not entirely distracted by quick-winded success, frontman Butch honed his songwriting sk**s and co-wrote "Right Now" with Maryland's SR-71.
