Dyaz the Bringer of Love n Peace - A Background on the Peculiar Features on Deltron's Event 2 lyrics

The long-awaited sequel to the stunning self-titled Deltron 3030 album has finally gotten a release a little more than a month ago, and that makes me happy. While we all know Dan the Automator has a history of creating weird records with rappers, like Dr. Octagonecologyst, So... How's Your Girl?, White Girls, this probably takes the cake. From the food skit by David Chang, a song featuring Rage Against the Machine vocalist Zach de la Rocha, and a collaboration with the same guys who made a song called "Motherlover", Event 2 is a harmonic clash of styles that nobody ever thought could happen in full effect. The features on Event 2 are so random, that it seems like the members of Deltron 3030 simply asked people on the street if they're interested in being on the album. But is that really what happened? Below we broke it all down for every single feature, in the order of appearance on the album: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Featured on the intro is actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, known for playing Tommy in the TV show 3rd Rock From the Sun and roles in movies like 10 Things I Hate About You, (500) Days of Summer, Inception, and more. Kid Koala and Dan the Automator both have connections to the actor. Koala is a friend of "Joe" and the reason he appeared on the album, as explained in an interview with Vish Khanna. Automator, on the other hand, is a member of Gordon-Levitt's online production company HitRECord, and has posted music on the site.
