There is a lot when it comes to Epic Hero Monomyth. There are stages to go though. Like the status quo, the call to adventure, etc. but we will get deep into that and different heroes also. Like Luke from star wars, Tyler Perry (Madea) from the movie Madea's Big Happy Family are two good role models. Luke had been though all of the different stages in the Epic Hero Monomyth. For example, Luke was still on the farm, and still was bored. And that is an example of a status quo. And that means nothing has changed. Then the call to adventure means that the hero is given a quest, which is when a female (Leia) asked for help. Then comes the a**istance which means the older (Obi-wan), wiser character helps the hero, like when Luke's master trained him. Next it's the departure which means the hero leaves his normal world and enters special, new world, like when Luke leaves the farm to go save that female. There is more to it like trials when means the hero faces obstacles to overcome, like when battle with stormtroopers, trash compactor scene. Next it's the approach which means the hero faces his or her fear or enemy, like when Luke had seen Vader k** his master. Then the crisis, like when Luke lost his master. Next it treasure which is the after winning or being reborn, hero gains a prize, which is when he received a gold reward. Then it's the return which is when the hero returns to his normal life, like when Luke went back home. Then it's a new life which is when the hero is a changed man/ woman and improves the lives of others around him, like when Luke and his new life at home. Finally, there is the resolution which is when all loose ends of plot are tied up. Tyler Perry has also been though all the stages on all his movies. For example, on his movie called Madea's Big Happy Family, everything was the same in the beginning. A family member was asked to do something, then that member asked Madea for help. Then Madea went to different places to get the family together. Next Madea had a little battle with one of the family member. Then Madea argued with one of her family member she was her enemy but at that time she was her enemy. She almost did something to the same family member but she stopped herself. But she got the family together, and the same family member that Madea dislike end up having her secret put out to the whole family after her mother died , and she end up getting along with everyone. Everyone was back to their normal life, but everyone is getting alone. In my opinion I think that Terry Perry (Madea) is better than Luke. I mean yes they are both good, but I think Terry Perry (Madea) made everyone come together as one. I'm not saying that Luke didn't do that, but I think that it has a good message, and it's saying that family is important. Which is very true, and I don't think any other message is better than that. And Luke had a good message to, and it is saying that you can do anything as long as you put your mind into it. And I think that is a good thing to, but not as good as Tyler Perry (Madea). As you can see there is lots of different step in the Epic Hero Monomyth, but at the end of it all it turns out good. For example when I talked about the Luke and Tyler Perry (Madea) movies, it used all the stages and it was in order. And I think that it's true that if you just follow the steps your story or movie will turn out being good. Yes there are a lot of steps, but like I said it will turn out being good. And I think that Tyler Perry (Madea) is a good example and role model also.
