Julius Caesar in the story Brutus is portrayed thorugh his personal, political beliefs and motives for making the choices he choose. Brutus political and personal beliefs of government. One of Brutus beliefs was that taking Caesar out of his place would actually benefit Rome. “Not that I loved Caesar less, but I love Rome more” (document A). Brutus k**ed Caesar to help his country. Brutus sacrificed his friend to what he believed was the cause of “liberty” (Document A). Brutus believed he is saving his country by taking Caesar out. He k**ed his friend for what he thought was good. Brutus political and personal beliefs portray the land of person he was. The motives for making the choices he made. Patriotism was Brutus motive for choosing the decision he made. Brutus was a sincere patriot who served as an urban proctor and governor of Cyprus. Since Brutus served as a governor, he believed he could run Rome. That being said it mortared him to k** Caesar. Brutus thought he could run Rome, but not the same way that Caesar did. He wanted to be a better ruler than his friend. Even though Caesar was stabbed to d**h he still wanted to do something different from Caesar. Brutus took over and still died at the end but was a great ruler. Brutus k**ed himself, knowing he died as the man and a ruler of something made it even bigger.
