Buck first got its start in 1997, when singer Ted Fransson and drummer Richard Blank left the punk band they had been working with. They recruited ba**ist Mikey Lennartsson and guitarist Jacob Albinson and began playing their lo-fi pop to audiences around Sweden. In 2001 they recorded two albums, Your Guide to Better Lies and Hello Holland, although only the latter album made it to America. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
