I live life in the simple way
Really couldn't care much at all
About the things other people say guess I never answered the call
But it seems to me too many things in life go wrong
Then our perceptions change leaving us nowhere to belong
Time ticks by counting down the day
Living the life dusk 'til dawn
Years fly by and the memories fade, before you know it they're all gone
But we hang on cause we're still strong as the world tears us in two
Then we collect ourselves shape into something else before you know it you're brand new
As the hands of time reach deep into my soul they reconfigure all the things that make me whole
Now that the seed has been planted we can finally make it through
It seems to me, too many things in life go wrong
Then our perceptions change, before you know it now you're home
