Sometimes this seems a foreign land to me
Where the things that once were sacred have no place
And values that were cherished are easily discarded
As the foolish and profane rush in their space
Though at times I feel surrounded
My faith is firmly grounded
In the hope that won't be threatened
By storms of disbelief

To trust in Him whatever comes my way

The plain and simple message is still true
His authority cannot be denied
So faithful hearts desire to be like Christ in all they do
For His holiness is still the pa**ion of the wise
And if the world should stand against us
They will not have convinced us
They can never shake the confidence
That we have found in Christ

Then I would choose to be a fool
