The West Newbury, MA, native and college football star (he was an All-American center at Division III Springfield College) made his WWE debut in 2002, and eventually made his bones with moves like the F.U. and Five-Knuckle Shuffle and raucous catch phrases like "You Can't See Me!" and "If You Want Some, Come Get Some!" He also built a reputation with his firebrand freestyle raps, and that led to a second career as an MC. In April 2005 Cena seized the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21, beating out JBL. The SmackDown! wrestler was more popular than ever and capitalized by dropping his full-length rap debut the following May. You Can't See Me featured guest appearances from Bumpy Knuckles (aka Freddie Foxxx) and Esoteric, as well as production from Eligh of the Living Legends.
