(Heb 12:1-2, Phil 3:8-14)
Got my, eyes on the end of the road, mind's on the things to behold
God you're a friend to my soul, I abide in your strength 'til the goal
Size and the length isn't known, but I strive to continue in hope
Climb from the pits and the falls, when I rise I repent then I roll
Life isn't gentle at all, but the prize is ridiculous though
Christ the redemption I hold 'cause He died for my sins on the cross
Price too expensive for all, ain't a dime I could spend for the cost
Guys in the Benz wanna floss, it'll fry in the end it's a loss
Grind for the Kingdom of God, in the sight of the Christians before
Not for the ends or the who*es, or the rides with the rims and the spoilers
Write for grin of the Lord, or a smile though men still applaud
The rhyme is a stench to the lost but to JAH it's a scent that I offer
I am a gift on the alter, alive for the will of the Father
Thrive for the thrill of his honor, at night I appeal to my Abba
Find in the scriptures a balm, to apply to my hip that is sore
Stride with a limp 'til I'm gone, and reside in a different home
A body not meant to get old, (Ah) can you picture it yo
I'm tryin' to convince you it's doper, then poppin' the Crys' wit' your folks
I got the conviction and wrote this project to get you to focus
Our time isn't spent with the motives that God would intend for his soldiers
I'm not exempt yo I know, that I'm not the exemplary mold
Of the godly and sinless and all
But we gotta present Him as Holy
Not just a friend or a homie, the Sovereign King who will roll
With a squad and avenge for His glory, they mocked in the end of the story
