How many laws were put in place
Simply with the soul purpose to generate;
The wages of the people who keep telling us -
What's right, what's wrong
Our rights and what we can and cannot say?
Well I won't sit and watch as they -
Tip the scales of power
Against us
Still you act as if the things they say
Are gospel like the word of God well;
Lead us from temptation couldn't see the truth
If it was broadcast on the news
I hope they hear me when I say:
We don't need you!
Rules aren't made in parliament
Or congress or in commons
It's in offices; by business men
Where profit is the only thing that -
Tips the scales of power
Against us
Ask yourself; what is it they've done for you
That you couldn't do, for yourself
No we don't need you!
