When I see the earth
Choked and dead and old
Ruled by a bloody sword
Falling sharp and cold
The poison seeps through all the gaps
We drown in scum and blood dark red
We stand by the sea
At the edge of light
Hear the fading screams
See the coming night
The winter brings a frost so cold
The year is yet worn out and old
Hold the blades up crossed
This is worst than hell
Spring shall come again
Like an endless spell
Still winter covers trees and lakes
A dreadful mist between the graves
And the birds of prey
Tear apart the night
