Today I continued reading the hunger game book. The government controls food ratios and makes everyone work for very little money. The only way to get enough food to live is to put your name in a lottery. one entrée gives one person barely enough food to live off of for one year. you can only put your name in the lottery if you are 10 to 19 years old. so katniss has to put her name in three times to feed her, her little sister, and her mom. she also sneaks outside the city to hunt for extra food to feed her family. This is very legal and if caught she will be k**ed.
